Project 1: Information and Technology (IT) Institute Buildings, Ministry of Telecommunication & IT, Egypt-Cairo.

Project 2: Office Building for Oracle Company, Ministry of Telecommunication & IT, Egypt-Cairo.

 

Each building comprised: six floors, hard scape, soft cape and roads.  Project area measured 40,000 m2 and cost an estimated 350 million pounds.

 

During this project assignment my responsibilities included:

 

-Preparing the detailed Baseline Schedule (20,000 activities) in conjunction with the Project and Construction Managers.

-Preparing the Manpower Histograms, Quantity Curves, Cash Flow S-Curves and Progress S-Curves for the Overall Project and for each discipline.

-Preparing Cost Loaded Construction Schedule.

-Preparing the Procurement and Shop Drawings Logs which are extracted from the Baseline Schedule and then reporting on the logs for the Procurement and Engineering Department that follow it.

-Preparing and Monitoring Cash Flow analysis.

-Reviewing regularly, weekly and monthly, critical and sub-critical activities and monitoring their impact on the Project Schedules.

-Monitoring the daily activities on site to determine they are complying with required provided schedules.

-Participation in the progress meetings and any other meeting related to revision of the Program.

 

-Preparing a weekly Look-Ahead Program on the basis of the Master Schedule and monitor the same.

 

 

 

 

-Supporting the Technical Manager and Quantity Surveyor.

-Updating the Construction Schedule, Cash Flow.

-Preparing the monthly and weekly progress reports.

-Identifying the causes of delay, if any, and the effect of delay on the Construction Schedule.

-Performing Acceleration Plans, Reviews and evaluate all requests for time extension.
