February, 2011 - Responsible for the development of Project Controls and Planning Methodology, approach and techniques to be applied on Overseas Construction projects.
- Provide Support to the Overseas Offices for projects throughout their lifecycle : tender, delivery and handover.
- Ensures that projects are with interface to an centralized structure for enterprise tracking and monitoring.
- Develop strategies on each unique project nature dependent on Client Specific requirements in seamless interface within company method.
- Compiles project data and develop intelligent analyses
- Establish a seamless stream of project interface between various locations.
- Monitor a network of projects within the overseas groups
- Mentor Project Controls Team on adherence to a standard and companywide methodology.
- Maintains a dashboard of projects information and statistical data
- Performs regular audit and visitation to projects to ensure the methodology is maintained and data integrity is maintained.
- Planning management through program assessments, project work plans, and reporting in conjunction with different overseas projects. Manages team members to meet program deliverables
- Explore and review methods and practices for improvement of current approaches.
- Participates in Claims development, Forensic Planning Review,
- Reports to the Planning Manager for Overseas operations.
- Monthly review of schedule/controls issues (Project Monthly Status Reports)
- Provide Guidance and instruction in respect to formation of project schedules and controls and validate ongoing monitoring and maintenance of such.
- Provide input to support project variations/claims/delay commercial issues
- Represent Construction overseas, in all internal company Project Controls forums
- Assist in the recruitment of suitably qualified project controls personnel
- Identify suitable training and development courses for overseas office/project controls personnel
