Reporting Officer (Acting Jr. Planner)

Project: Consultant (The Engineer) for Dubai Metro Project both Red Line & Green Line (Value: $ 8 Billion +

Variations).                                   

  • Conduct reporting documents (Monthly Project Achievements) to the Client’s Project Director on behalf of the Consultant’s Project Director and Project Controls Manager.
  • Main responsible for internal/external correspondences and for the reporting monitoring and scheduling tools; makes more understandable formats or graphically represented schedules [with easy reports tabulation for the activities at site against baseline program] on a weekly, monthly reports within The Engineer (SYSTRA / PARSONS) and then send the reports on a timely manner to the client/engineers once agreed.
  • Overall supplementary support for Project Controls Manager and senior Planning Engineers on their reports (using excel graphs, primavera and other tools); implements/Improves the quality of the Consultants’ reports.
  • Conduct seminars on basic-intermediate-advance excel and word application to the site team.
  • Develop advance Excel Macro programming report (planned vs actual) prior to progress monitoring and implementation.
  • Develop and implement Progress Tracking and Performance Analyses methodologies using Earned Value. Management, Cost Performance Index (CPI) & Schedule Performance Index (SPI) techniques.
  • Develop critical indicator sheets/ histograms/ manpower & material requirements to higher management.
  • Develop & monitor two-week look-ahead plans, ensuring availability of resources & approved documents.
  • Coordinate and update with all involved parties regarding the progress of work /program.
  • Participate in all necessary meetings for the project internally and externally.
