• Project Engineer at the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company.  

My duties at the Project Implementation Department are to monitor the execusion phase Sohar III Independent Power Project and Sohar IV Independent Water Project. To ensure that these two projects are being constructed as per the requirements of their contracts and to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant during and after the commissioning period. 

My duties include, but not limited to, conducting site visits with the project director, OPWP's project manager and the Project Company's CEO. We focus on evaluating the implementation of Heath, Safety and Environment regulations and rules on site and to ensure that construction activities are being carried out in a safe manner as well as providing HSE feedbacks when necessary. 

As a project engineer, I focus on reviewing progect tecnical documentations, progress reports and managing interfaces with the project company. To ensure the delivery of project's milestones, I investigate on project's challenges and provide necessary support to the project company, including highlighting any potential delays, issues and contractual requirements in a timly manner. 

My technical scope includes, but not limited to:

• Reviewing PFDs,P&IDs,SLDs of Power and Water Projects to ensure project is being executed as per the minimum requirements. 
• Reviewing Progress Reports and analyzing any potential challenges for top management of OPWP.
• Reviewing Project's HSE Statistics to ensure compliance with governemnt and contractual HSE requirements.
• Provides technical and legal support for OPWP's legal department in case of acknowledging any claims from the Project Company.
