A) Managing Technical Systems and Equipment: Independently manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of technical mission systems and provide the tier 1 onsite service desk support including but not limited to deployment of SCCM packages, set up user profile in Active directory, install windows patches, maintain servers, test new tools, learn and train users on the new systems. I work as system administrator to ensure system availability, functionality, integrity and efficiency, are maintained for smooth bureau operations.

B) Project Management: Independently implement and manage ongoing projects and monitor the related resources and activities to ensure successful completion. Apply basic knowledge of project management principles and techniques. Ensure projects are communicated, coordinated, monitored, and completed successfully. I have led several inter-office projects at the user end and followed through the closing of the project. The tasks entailed gathering requirements, providing support in deployment plans, participating in regular video conferences, implementing new changes and finally providing inputs for closing the project.

C) Contract/Vendor Management: Independently administer contract/vendor requirements, manage contractor/vendor relationships. Monitor contract performance for the effective delivery of goods and services. Maintain a working relationship with vendors, local IT companies, inter offices, and service providers. Also negotiate purchases, services, and resolve issues with local suppliers as needed.
