Fire Protection and Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Planner. Create, verify & implement fire protection preventative maintenance (PM) procedures in SAP PM Maintenance Module. Create and attach detailed Maintenance Task Lists for each PM utilizing manufacturer instructions, NFPA code and observance of actual testing and maintenance. Included photos and diagrams as needed. Built and maintained Excel database of equipment included within the plant Facility Life Safety Systems: Sprinkler systems, Extinguishers, Fire doors & dampers, Emergency shower & eyewash stations and mechanical equipment, which was in excess of 1,000 items. Identify & order maintenance and repair parts through SAP that are required for work orders. Verify received parts are correct, put together tagged job kits in storeroom. Included document work package containing MTL, parts location and other pertinent data with work order as scheduled. Create & maintain work and fire impairment permits. Walk through all permits for Fire Protection work to obtain signatures and file with Operations. Plan mechanical repair jobs; chemical, exhaust, water and drain lines for Plant utilities and Process Tools. Compile and present detailed job plan including impacted equipment, LOTO locations and support personnel involved etc. Sometimes presented via PowerPoint presentation to all departments impacted in order to coordinate. Maintained a drawing database for Maintenance use of as-built drawings for work we performed. Updated the Engineering drawings with changes and submitted to Engineering for revision to official drawing, both a hard copy and electronic file. Assist other personnel with AutoCAD program usage. Provided input in various ways to save Client money through efficiency increases and maintenance savings. •Identified and facilitated change in new fire riser design with Contractor and Engineer to decrease annual maintenance costs. •Implemented shared material tracking spreadsheet for Mechanical & Fire Protection groups, which increased efficiency for users and was implemented for use by maintenance department. •Identified large, repetitive specialty material purchase and worked with procurement agent to obtain better vendor pricing for bulk purchase, saving thousands of dollars for the PM. Recommended by Engineering, assigned as Construction & Commissioning Coordinator for the plant’s Phase Two 300mm wafer production plant. Liaison between contractors, engineering and maintenance departments. •Maintained commissioning, start-up and turnover documentation •Identified problems, produced RFIs to Engineering staff •Built material masters and BOMs for new equipment and systems •Compiled and filed all project IO&M data for Operations and Maintenance usage and attached with equipment in SAP. •Saved Owner $9k+ for Cooling Tower blades identified as still being under warranty
