• Ensure maintenance and smooth operations of all active and passive infra sites on the AIRTEL and MTN NIGERIA Optical Network nodes in Huawei MS Kano operational region.

• Provide technical support for resolution of incidences on all OSN, Ericsson and Tellabs network equipments escalated by the Back Office/Incident Management Team.

• Responsible for advising management and schedule infra maintenance plans, Emergency Change Request Consideration, Equipment and services Relocation and Cutovers.

• Ensure timely resolution of faults/disruptions of services and bring up site within MTTR.

• Ensures all active and passive equipments on the network are maintained in accordance with outlined maintenance schedules and procedures as contained in the Service Level Agreement.

• Ensure and maintain that service and maintenance agreements with customers, vendors and contractors are adhered to in life cycle of the projects

• Prepares and presents periodic reports on network maintenance activities namely; weekly performance report, fiber core status and availability report, Passive Infrastructure report and Incidences Report.

• Ensure that the overall network availability meets the pre-set targets as laid out by Management through efficient resolution of all network faults.
