15 Year overall experience within the built and engineering industry with experience mostly in Gauteng and Free State, South Africa. Involved in a variety of projects (Mining, structural steel, commercial, residential, government hospitals and industrial, piping and isometrics, specialized shutdowns) and tasked with all QS aspects such as, cost advice and planning (Cost estimates and feasibility studies), contract documentation (Contract conditions, Bills of Quantities, Schedule of Rates, Contractual Correspondence), tendering and contractual arrangements (Tender Procedures, Evaluation, Reporting and Advising on selection of tenders), contract services (provide cost advice during construction, final account estimate during construction, preparation of variation orders and cost reports), monitoring current construction methods and advising on value engineering methods, preparation and agree interim payment certificates and final accounts.
