I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2002 with Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. During my Undergraduate Studies, I went through industrial training at National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) and later at National Information and Telecommunications (NITEL), Zaria. I also have an MSc degree in Applied Instrumentation and Control from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow –UK (2009) in addition to a Postgraduate diploma in Management Sciences from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

After my graduation, I went for one year compulsory National Youth Service where I served with Pipeline and Product Marketing Company (PPMC), Auchi – Pump Station as an Electrical/Instrument Engineer.

In November, 2004, I was employed by GAYACO Nigeria Limited, Kaduna as Deputy Project Engineer. The company was into rural electrification projects within and outside Kaduna state. I left for INTERCELULAR Nigeria Limited in March 2005, where I was employed as Electrical Engineer – II and posted to Lagos Switch.

 In August 2005, I got employment as an Electrical Engineer with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). I went through one year On-the-Job training at the Kaduna Refinery & Petrochemicals Company Ltd (KRPC).

After my one year On-the-Job training, I was permanently deployed to KRPC as an Electrical Engineer (Power Plant Operation) in the Power Plant and Utilities Department.

In 2010, I was redeployed to National Petroleum Investment Management Services – Lagos as Cost Engineer with the Facilities Department of Joint Venture Oil Operations Division. This had been my Job role until my promotion to Superintendent Electrical Engineering, in 2028. 

 I’m presently a member of Institute of Engineers and Technologies (IET), Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria, Project Management Institute (PMI) the Association for the Accreditation of Cost Engineering (AACE). I currently hold PMP Credentials.
