I have used the MS suite of products for quite a number of years. I started playing around with Spreadsheets in about 1982/4 with Lotus Symphony and then Lotus 1-2-3. I also used Word and its predicessors, however I am relatively new to Visio and Project, and it is MS Project that I currently have a problem with.

A colleague and I have created a Project using MS Project 2016. The project itself has a couple of hundred lines and is very complex. What we are trying to do is create a precis of the project with about 50 lines that are of a higher priority, however if I change something (dates) for example in the precis, then I want the dates in the large project to update and vice versa. I wonder if any of your members could give me a detailed explanation of how we could achieve this. TIA.
