                                                ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Monitoring

• Responsible for Preparation of Cost & Resource Loaded Baseline Schedule for the Project.
• Prepare the Cash flow and other Progress related Curves.
• Schedule Updates, Progress monitoring and Reporting
• Monitoring progress throughout all phases and comparing to the baseline, preparing Variance Report, Exception Reports etc.
• Periodically analyze the Programme and advise the site management with regards to activities that are delayed.
• Prepare the recovery Schedule if the project is delayed.
• Prepare the look ahead schedule for internal Construction Team
• To participate in the progress and coordination meetings in order to discuss the status of the project
• Generation of Project Progress Reports including Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.

Extension of Time Claim

• Prepare Extension of Time claims (EOT) using various methodologies such as Time Impact/Window Analysis / Impacted as planned.
• Coordinate with Contracts Team to notify a potential event of delay referring to the pertinent contract clause
• Maintain Delay event register / Notice of Delay log.
• Compile contemporaneous records for each event
• Prepare the revised Schedule based on the Awarded Extension of Time

Subcontractor Management:

• To review and evaluate the subcontractor’s schedules, reports and monitoring submittals in order to align the subcontracted items as indicated in the contract schedule.
• Preparation of delay notices to Subcontractors.
• Review and reply of Subcontractors Claim.
• To track and monitor Shop Drawing, Material Submission & Material Procurement.
• Attend Major Subcon progress monitoring meeting.

Self was the Lead Planning Engineer for this Industrial building located at Orissa forest area. My responsibilities include preparing the Baseline schedule and preparing the control budget for the same to monitor the cash flow and control profitability margin periodically. Also involved in preparing the Variation claims / EOT, Detailed Procurement/ delivery plan, Engineering deliverables plan in line to the Baseline schedule coordinating with all disciplines, aside from the preparing all the project reports such as Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports etc.
