I have been a self employed contractor / consultant since 1998 and prior to that was a management consultant since 1993. 

I am a Project/Program Planner, PMO Lead and occational Project Manager with experience in many industries (telecoms, government, aviation, life sciences, finance & Pensions) in both technical and business change programs.  

I am good with MS Project, Excel and other office products but I feel that the real value adding skills are the soft ones which allow me to build a rapor with the Project team / sponsors to draw information our, review and replay it as well as offer a friendly challenge role.  Whilst as a planner I don't own the plan (that's the PM's role) I certainly own the quality of the plan.
