This included BOP, LNG Storage, Process, marine facilities, and total plant construction.
PROJECT DIRECTOR U.S. Coking Toledo, Ohio 2004 - 2005 Project Executive for a multiparty, multinational Team working with a developer to design, prepare an execution plan, and cost basis for what would be the engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, demonstration and related services for a maximum 1,440,000 ton/year, heat recovery coke oven battery.

PROJECT DIRECTOR Planning and Execution San Antonio, Texas 2001-2004 Define and implement a schedule management practice; complete with standards and metrics to ensure proper planning, execution, early recognition of deviations, maximum opportunity for mitigation, and improved implementation of best practices. Supported joint venture operations as a member of the BVZ Operation Committee. During this period, also supported field operations and received the recognition as a member of the “ALL-BVZ” Team for work at Reliant’s Osceola Station. PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT Larsen & Toubro Limited Mumbai, India 1997 - 1998 Project Management advisory services for Larsen & Toubro Limited of Mumbai, India, a major Engineering, manufacturing, and construction concern. The services, for various power and process projects, primarily focused on project controls improvements (scope, quality, time, cost, risk, human resources, contract, procurement, communications, and integration of these factors). The review of procedures and processes in place, preparation of enhanced procedures, facilitation of team building exercises, presentations to various groups, facilities reviews, and extended site visits, were all part of the process.
PROJECT MANAGER Exxon Chemical Combustion Turbine Cogeneration Project Baytown, Texas 1995 - 1997 Overall responsibility for construction of a cogeneration facility located within the Exxon Chemical-Baytown Olefins Plant in Baytown, Texas. The installation included one Siemens 84VA combustion turbine, one Deltak HRSG, and main power tie-ins. Exxon recognized the project for perfect safety performance by nomination for the Houston Business Roundtable Safety Award and Exxon’s own contractor awards.
PROJECT MANAGER DPMC Cogeneration Project Deer Park, Texas 1993 - 1995 Overall coordination for the construction and commissioning of a cogeneration facility located in Shell’s Deer Park Manufacturing Complex. The installation included two GE 7EA combustion turbines, two ABB/CE HRSG’s, and complete start-up responsibilities. Project was recognized by Shell and HIE for perfect safety performance and excellent overall project execution.
PROJECT MANAGER Mobil Oil Company Cogeneration Unit Beaumont, Texas 1991 - 1993 Overall coordination responsibilities for construction of a combined-cycle cogeneration facility located in the Mobil Oil Beaumont Refinery Complex. The installation included a GE Frame 6 combustion turbine, Deltak HRSG, GE steam turbine, and multiple interface/tie-ins with base plant facilities.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR Various Locations 1980 - 1991 Overall responsibility for a maintenance services organization ranging from contract support for major corporations to responses to emergencies. This included the founding of “Electrical Testing Services, Inc.” ETS provided NETA certified electrical testing services for a broad range industrial, commercial, and institutional organizations. Had been a Certified Test Technologist in this NETA organization. Major organizations included: GPU-Penelec, AP-Columbus Southern, VEPCO, GTE Sylvania, Ohio Edison, Penn Power, US Steel, Wheatland Tube, Sawhill Tubular, Ellwood City Forge, and Robinson Ind.

Also served as Division Officer at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, including a tour a Special Training Division Officer. Qualified as Officer-of-the-Deck (import and underway), Combat Information Center Officer, Engineer Officer of the Watch, and Surface Warfare Officer.
