I am a Chemical Engineer involved in the Project Management area, currently working as a Project Planner for a company that provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management Services for the Oil & Gas Industry. I began to work in Project Management as a Document Controller being part of the Project Control Department. I was responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective document control system, ensuring that all design documentation is accurate, up to date and distributed to relevant parties.

After this period, as Document Controller, I began to be more interested in planning and got the opportunity to get out of the comfort zone and work as a Project Planner.

I consider that working and covering multiple roles within Project Services (positions as document controller and planner, but also covering areas as cost controlling, change management and contract management) I have a better understanding of the processes that are developed within a project.
