Mr. Peck has more than 35 years experience with industrial, building, tunneling, design/build, and heavy civil, bridge, rail and highway construction and is currently the Corporate Schedule Manager for C. C. Myers, Inc.  Mr. Peck was the Corporate Scheduling Manager for Modern Continental Companies, a Boston based general contractor for over 14 years.  With Modern, Mr. Peck served at the management advisory level for capital projects including the Central Artery Tunnel, Deer Island Waste Treatment Facility, Boston MA, and the Route 3 Design/Build Project for the Massachusetts Highway Department.  Mr. Peck has considerable expertise in planning, schedule preparation, schedule oversight, schedule review, time entitlement review, and negotiations as a schedule expert and claims reviewer. 

 

Mr. Peck has participated on a number of major infrastructure, commercial and process projects and managed the scheduling processes on all projects with Modern Continental Companies.  He has been involved with a number of high-profile public sector projects for scheduling and claim management purposes.  Related public Owners include Massachusetts Highway Department, Massachusetts Transit Authority, including the Central Artery Tunnel, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, Massport, New York Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Transportation, CalTrans, Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority, LA to Pasadena Metro Blue Line Authority and San Diego Metro Transit Development Authority.  For these Owners, Mr. Peck has established effectual involvement in the resolution process for scheduling and claim issues, with demonstrable expertise in scheduling dynamics during the construction process including mitigation, productivity analysis, proposal preparation and presentation to ensure timeliness in the resolution of issues and disputes.  Mr. Peck has proven effectiveness in facilitating claim prevention at the early stages of projects by developing good working relationships with Owner, Contractor and Subcontractor representatives as well as exploring all possible mitigation options to keep the projects on track.

 

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Peck has applied practical experience from his early years of being a Field Engineer, Concrete Superintendent and Project Manager on various types of projects including industrial, building, heavy civil, bridge, light rail and highway projects.  This practical experience is significant with respect to understanding the correlation between the dynamic process of scheduling and building projects.
