Ronald K. Grant is presently the Lead for Construction Claims Management at HDR, Inc.  He is a recognized expert on the subject of construction planning, scheduling, and construction claims, including claims for schedule delay and disruption, labor inefficiency, cardinal changes, and financial impact.  Mr. Grant is an active panelist on the American Arbitration Association’s national Panel of Neutrals and has served on numerous construction arbitration panels including those administered under the large/complex construction dispute rules.   Mr. Grant has provided construction project controls oversight and consulting services to Owners, Engineers, and Contractors on a wide variety of projects in the U.S. and Canada.  Representative companies Mr. Grant has worked for prior to joining HDR include: Ameren, Associated Electric Cooperative, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, Constellation Energy, Kansas City Power and Light, McHugh Construction, Midwest Conveyor, Midwest Generation EME, Mid West Mechanical Contractors, Mirant Power, Ontario Power Generation, Peter Kiewit, and UniStar Nuclear Energy.

Mr. Grant received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Central Missouri.  Previously, Mr. Grant held positions with Wilson, Gudgel, Kopmeyer Consulting; Foster Wheeler's Midwest Conveyor Subsiduary; Black and Veatch's Priticard Subiduary; J. Wilson and Associates, Inc. and R Grant Consulting LLC.   Mr. Grant has been a long time member of both the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) and Project Management Institute (PMI), serving several terms as the AACEI Kansas City Area Chapter President.   In addition he serves on Advisory Board to University of Central Missouri’s Construction Management Degree Program.  Mr. Grant graduated from the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworker’s apprenticeship program while completing his university work.
