I am a graduate of Geology from The Federal University of Technology Owerri (Imo State) Nigeria.

I was introduced into Planning in 2009. I underwent some trainings in Project management courses here in Nigeria and in France under Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited. At the expiration of my training, I was employed in the Company as Planning Engineer (Junior).

While under training, I was given some tasks in the project that was ongoing (USAN UFR DEEPWATER Project - TOTAL project).

I was given the responsibility of tracking the hours spent for the various activities linked to the project with a view to calculate its productivity. I was also involved in going to the field to get first-hand information on what was being done.

My responsibility also included checking the Job cards used for measuring progress if the weights of the various structures that make up the projects are actually what was reported.

I also carried out these tasks and more in SUFFOLK CRITICAL CRUDE REPLACEMENT PROJECT - MOBIL Project.

Currently I am the Planning Engineer for OFON PHASE 2 Projects. The project is the fabrication of the JACKET for TOTAL.

There has been a lot of challenges in the project but I can assure you that it has really opened my eyes to the world of planning.

It is my desire to improve further on the skills I have already acquired by joining the FORUM in discussing pertinent issues to Planning.
