First Name:

Last Name:
Hernandez

Entered the Nuclear Industry in 1984 after being discharged from active duty at Fort Benning Georgia.

I started out as a supply clerk and made trip to South Korea during Viet Nam in 1971. Until recently did not know who I was. I can get bored easily and although I hate failing, it is the learning process and learning new skills that has kept me going. Since the younger days, working alone as an Avionics tech to becoming a leader as a Warrant Officer the ability to learn ask questions and work with others has been my strong suit.

By getting involved with others, leading by showing and learning by asking why I've learned how to fix 'stuff'. Helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, to calibrating protective relays. Instructing is not the same to me as teaching. I do not like to give lectures so you remember data to spit out during the exam. I like to instruct on the how's and why's of equipment and processes work so you the student can figure it out based on learning and knowing the process and equipment.

So far my progress has been a professional learner, instructor, fixer and now a solution provider. Being a solution provider for my Project Managers has been to this point very satisfying.
