RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED IN ABENER (at site and at office):

·         Calculated and helped the Engineering department in finding out resultant forces on the Solar Collector Assembly (SCA) collector forces and to set limit points for the designed local controller.

·         Developed the Project schedules and S- Curves to meet the project target date using Primavera and M S Projects).

·         Implementation of progress curves in excel at site for monitoring the site activities like Tube welding, piping Joints, Mirror installations, and based on the progress of curve the manpower and resources required was planned to meet the target date.

·         Prepared and sent Monthly Progress report, Weekly Progress report, and 2 Week look ahead schedule to clients, for updating the clients on project status.

·         I have been working on SAP for Preparing Quotations, Sales Document and MRN.

·         Prepared Radiography report chart, Weld map for easy reference, and arranged Minutes of meeting with the Client and Vendors, Weekly project meeting PowerPoint, as per quality system procedures.

·         Following up with the Vendors for delivery of the material to meet the dispatch targets.

·         Execution of our critical activities at site like rotating the solar collector assemblies using Hydraulic Tracking Systems with help of self-designed local controls (manually).

·         In-charge for Shop welding of Schott PTR 70 receiver tube and Erecting on field.

·         Inspection of the Solar Collector Assembly (SCA) structures.

·         Supervising of piping welding and erection as per the Isometric Drawings. I co-ordinated with the sub-contractor for carrying out the Radiography tests on the piping joints and following up about the repairs of joints.

·         Executing of Electrical –cable laying (LV) and testing, erection and testing of control panels, Earthing of equipment’s etc.,

·         Developed Electrical construction procedures for future references.

·         Prepared specifications for cables, Lightning arrestor, and Panels.

·         Execution of Instrumentation – In charge of installation of instruments, cable laying of instruments, laying of optical cable, erection of local control panels.

·         Provided innovative ideas to save electricity (suggested power saving lamps) and paper in office.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

·         Savings in project cost over and above the budgeted margin by in time completions of tube erecting, Which was Planned and budgeted for 15 days ,and completed within 10 days, saving manpower cost and other Non-Labor resource cost.( Received Appreciation from the Project Manager).

·         On time completion of project activities like Electrical and Instrumentation Construction.

·         On time Resolution of customer queries.

·         Suggest several Improvement Action on site activities to the Management ( like better method of laying Cables, better and careful way of transporting tubes to erection site from welding shop etc. ).
