Planning:Establishing the Project goals, development of Project Chart & analyzing the time span of project execution. Coordination with all the concerned stakeholders for development of MASTER CONTROL NETWORK for the projects including resource schedules, execution methodologies, milestones, budgets and periodic monitoring. Scheduling and Monitoring the project status during the course of periodic project review meetings using Microsoft Project Professional 2010. Evaluating designs; coordinating with Architect / Consultants / Sub Contractors for changes as required.
Project Management:Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with Architects/Collaborators/ Promoters. Anchoring on-site construction activities, to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters. Effective resource utilization to maximize the output. Participating in project meetings, for evaluating the project progress, providing technical inputs etc. Implementing the best practices in Project Management, through all the knowledge areas as per PMBOK, for achievement of the goal set in the Project Charter.
Site & Construction Management/Resource Planning:Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities. Overseeing a team of engineers for various types of job and resolving bottlenecks. Preparing and reviewing method statements and work specific quality control plans. Ensuring materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality. Analysing the shop drawings with the Architect and Structural Consultant; dealing with consultant’s drawings, B.O.Q, approved materials, accessories to be fitted, etc. for smooth construction work. Ensuring execution of work as per drawings.
Contracts Administration & Management:Preparation of Procurement Bid Documents, Conducting & Administration of the Contracts including final procurement audit Evaluating & executing contracting works and coordinating among consultants, contractors and clients. Following tender specifications & finalisation of requirement
