I joined Mowlem in 2001 as Section Engineer, working up to Sub Agent shortly after the Carillion aquisition. After completing a project in Bristol, I was asked to produce some tender programmes for the bid team. It was at this stage that I was approached to work as a Contract Planner on a full-time basis. In 2009 I was confirmed in my current role as Principal Planner.

Through my 15 years experience I have gained a wide range of expertise in the field of planning and have a track record of delivery to time and budget.

I have worked on many major civil engineering projects which include bulk earthworks, bored and sheet piling, complex temporary works, large reinforced concrete structures, highways, drainage, utilities and environmentally sensitive works.

I have a high level of expertise in maintaining a programme under the NEC form of contract and I pro-actively develop the programme right through the project period ensuring that the entire project team contributes to its successful management.

I ensure that the programme is resource and cost loaded to the right level of detail for efficient and accurate reporting and to enable earned value, critical path and schedule performance analysis.

I understand that the programme is much more than a bar chart and have developed mass haul diagrams, stage drawings, time chainage charts to demonstrate the planned sequence of works to all invloved in the project.
