Tendering

Involved with all aspects of the tendering process for a small private company. Visiting site in first instance; understanding scope of works requirements and digesting job technical specifications.

Production of returnable documentation; working with engineers/scientists/radiological personnel to develop a works delivery strategy and propose how company will meet client requirements.

 Understanding contract terms and conditions (usually nec3) and completing contract data part 2.

Planning

Production of project plans in Primavera P6; Initial cost planning including resource and duration, in support of tender submissions.

Production of project plans for project execution and updating existing plans to reflect current project status.

Adapting active programs to ensure key milestones and client KPI’s are achieved.

Cost Estimation

Producing an estimation of cost and duration of works for the purpose of submitting a bid for tender. Using proposed delivery strategy to develop a project estimation cost, including resource, equipment and materials to be used.

Management of quotations from potential suppliers and ensuring their services meet job requirements and are a cost effective solution.

Production of job/contract risk registers for risk assessment purposes; analysing potential project risks for the costing of potential compensation events should such a requirement occur.
