Working for Bramall Construction as the sloe planner in the East of England my responsibilities start with the tender, and the preparation of the tender programme, site set up, with the plant and resources required. Once the method of build has been agreed between myself and estimator, we present the findings at the settlement meeting with the heads of departments and MD. If an interview is required with the client I will again present my logic and take questions explaining how the project will be run.

I will then hand over to the construction team and compose a target programme and when required using the contract sum analysis add that to the contract programme giving us cash flows in both graph and bar chart.

I will then update and progress every week using either Asta site progress or tick sheets and collate the information and in report form issue to heads of departments, highlighting any areas of concern.

I will visit site to confirm information issued to me is correct.

I have had similar positions in two other companies in the roll of sole planner since 2008.

I fall back on my knowledge with in the industry as a contracts/production manger for Taylor Woodrow and TaylorWimpey.
