Provide WBS for all engineering disciplines of EPC projects up to work package and activity levels. Identify cost accounts in the project WBS and establish interfaces between work and cost breakdown structure.
Develop resource loaded schedules for all engineering disciplines and operate Enterprise Project Management (EPM) systems in order to manage resources at the enterprise level.
Develop progress measurement systems (PMS) based on project WBS and activities considering their weight factors to measure progress for all engineering disciplines of project.
Monitor and control the progress status comparing to the schedule by utilizing tools such as PMS, variance analysis, what-if analysis, resource levelling and earned value management (EVM).
Identify project stakeholders’ responsibilities for delays by performing schedule analysis based on activities network logic and floats.
Capture, response and log necessary Potential Variation from Plan (PVP), Variation form Plan (VP), compensation events and early warnings.
Review and assess contractor's schedule to ensure they are realistic and achievable. Suggest ways and influence contractors to implement necessary systems and procedures.
Implement and maintain change control procedures in terms of requirements for planning, scheduling and project control in order to minimize negative impacts of project changes.
