Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Engineer

     Programming in C & C + +.

Job Responsibilities:
     Preparation of BOQ from drawings and specifications.
     To update the cost and quantity implication due to the drawing revision.
     To maintaining records of quantities of work executed.
     Invitations, receipt of bids, evaluation, review of Subcontractors’ price. Draft preparation of procedures for contracts and subcontracts agreements.
     Analyze the rates submitted by the sub contractors’ and implications from the execution point of view.
     Review of subcontractor’s invoices and preparation of payment certificates.
     Coordinate, verify and keep track of third party services on day-to-day basis directly hired, in the situations wherein the sub contractor is unable to perform and meet the project deadline.
     Verify and approve third party invoices, liaison with them and check if the services are back chargeable to the subcontractor.
     Progress Payment Calculation and Invoice Preparation.
     Monthly evaluation of Labor cost, Equipment cost and Material cost.
     Preparing estimation for contractual variation orders and for new packages.
     Extrapolation to derive star rates from the existing appropriate ones.
     Preparing VTC rates and getting approval from client.
     Unit rate and Lump sum rate proposals for the additional works.
     Preparing change proposals and change orders for claiming the extra works.
     Maintain technical records including site progress meeting minutes, drawing issues, direct labor hire/supply of plant, free issue materials, changes in scope of work and specifications
