Richard Croxson
Richard is a chartered quantity surveyor and barrister* with twenty years experience in the construction industry. He has provided commercial and dispute advice for employers and contractors as well as preparing and defending claims for extensions of time, disruption and prolongation for domestic and international arbitration. He has also prepared contracts for major construction projects and has experience in building, ship building, civil, heavy engineering, power, rail, water, oil and gas works.
Richard is a past councillor of the Australian branch of the CIArb, the immediate past President of the New South Wales Chapter of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and current National Councilor of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a past lecturer in contract law Curtin at Herriot Watt Universities.
Richard is also a keen sailor and has crossed the Atlantic twice. He enjoys reading and travelling and reading about travelling. He is married to Kathryn, whom he met in Edinburgh 5 years ago, has one son, Archie, and currently lives in Sydney, Australia.
