Richard first worked in the UK Construction Industry as foreman and site manager for a London based contractor for a number of years.

He also worked as an Industrial Research Fellow  at the Dept. Construction Management, University of Reading specialising in Risk modelling. He also administered and taught on a part-time MSc in Project Management.

Richard co-founded Asta Development plc and designed and co-authored the project planning software – Powerproject.

Richard has been involved in project planning, project controls and forensic planning in all its guises for over 25-years.

Richard has also been an expert in linear planning techniques (time-chainage, March Charts, etc.) and the software application TILOS for a decade.
