Sarah Howe

First Name:
Sarah
Last Name:
Howe

I have over eight years’ experience as a construction planner and project controls engineer in both civil and multi-disciplinary construction, with over two years previously working as a site engineer in civil construction.  Together, this experience has given me a solid grounding in the requirements and difficulties of a construction programme.

I am currently part of the pre-contracts and estimating team at FKG, working on the development of tender programmes and the handover from tender phase to construction. This role includes the development of programmes in line with contractual and financial requirements and the development of work methodology alongside the estimating team. Prior to this I gained experience in the oil and gas industry working for WDS, Pacific Aluminium, and on the QCLNG project with Thiess as a Planning Engineer. This project included construction of field compression stations and a central processing plant and expanded my mechanical and electrical experience gained on the Airport Link Project. I also have experience planning civil earthworks and construction, design and procurement planning and planning around a wet season.

I have excellent communication skills and have always worked well as part of a team, whether large or small. I have strong analytical skills and deep understanding of the critical drivers for project success and have demonstrated my ability as a planner, as a member of a project controls team as well as working autonomously.
