This was a Greenfield site with the project directive of the total construction to first heat - up of the Smelter in one year
Systems included the total handling and distribution of the matte and slag materials, to the flash drying process, Smelting, Matte and Slag handling and furnace Off-Gas handling, and all electrical & instrumentation services i.e.
Construction of the main incoming consumer substation, Furnace substation with main plant control room and the Flash Dryers substation, all site offices and workshops etc

Duties:
Consulting Planner for the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation installations of a new underground Primary Crusher, associated Conveyors, 12000 t Splitter Bin, Substation, Holding Dam and Pump Stations, Haul Roads and Stormwater System
Two further contracts were awarded being a new Fuel Filling Station and construction of a new Slimes Dam Duties included the supervision and integration of the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Sub Contractors level 4 Project Plans, tracking by means of performance S- Curves and project reporting to the client ( Debswana - Johannesburg
