 My name is Jonathan Hipe, holding a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, specializing in project planning & controls with a strong background in project planning, implementation, management and supervision, costing, estimating and scheduling for mining & minerals, oil and gas, air transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications, power, environment and industrial sectors. I am accomplished at working within complex interfaces involving multi-discipline and multi-cultural staffs to a variety of foreign best practices and standards.

My background includes more than 20 years combined experience in construction & engineering, plant commissioning & operational readiness work in countries such as Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines. I had played key roles as team leader and player with project controls for over 15 years and project management and supervision for more than 5 years. I had worked for various government institutions as well as key players in the business such as BHP Billiton, Chevron, Petron, Bechtel and Parsons just to name a few.

My key expertise involves seamless systems integration of Primavera or MS Project software with client propriety or existing controls system, and making available reliable project information at the shortest time possible. This includes development of baseline schedules and master plan, resource planning and leveling, cashflow, progress updating and reporting and risk assessment. The final outcome relates to financial forecasts that help clients in making sound decisions for the project.

Currently, I am a Operational Readiness  Specialist Scheduler for a $10B greenfield mining business Roy Hill Holdings in Australia. My current assignment is to provide leadership in integrating the business operational readiness work scope, tracking and reporting. My task is to ensure the whole business is on track in achieving the individual leader's objectives in support to full operational requirements. This involves schedule integration of individual departments, weekly schedule reviews, risk assessments and setup reporting strategies and templates.
