On a scheduling level

Creating a WBS and OBS.
Detailing key activities and milestone events.
Estimating activity duration.
Establishing activity dependencies and constraints in order to build a precedence network.
Perform a forward and backward pass to highlight early / late dates, total float to highlight the critical path.
Producing a resource profile to enable long term forecasting.
Building a cost plan, this includes contract payment milestones.
Using earned value techniques to measure achievement. AS 4817 ( Australian standard ).
Tracking project progress and reporting on project schedule and cost variances, SPI’s and CPIs.

On a project level

Writing Statements of work
Negotiating contract schedules.

On a commercial level

Estimating recurring and non – recurring costs.
Application of learning and education curves.
Price negotiations with aerospace companies and Ministry of Defence (MoD).
