A working knowledge of scheduling specifications and what they should include to be effective. Knowledge of the common pitfalls that contribute to failure or abuse of a schedule.

An understanding of key issues such as float, concurrent delay, offsetting delay, constructive acceleration, impact on unchanged work, and the cumulative effect of changes.

Construction field experience and familiarization with construction methods and sequencing.

Experience teaching and training others in the principles, fundamentals, and techniques for planning, scheduling, delay analysis, controlling and reporting for construction projects.
