- Identifies and reviews regularly the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on the project schedules.
- Monitors the reported progress of Consultants/Contractors and ensure that reports accurately reflect the actual performance and productivity.
- Analyzes and identifies areas of concern, work progress trends for potential problems, examines implications of such problems.
- Responding consultants and contractor’s correspondence related to project controls especially any that may be construed as claims oriented.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for top management.
- Prepares the Project Management Consultant Services Manpower Allocation Chart and Mobilization/Demobilization plan for Design and Construction Projects.
- Provide input for Project budgets and Authorization for Expenditure (AFE).
- Develop and train the Local Trainee Engineers as part of Emiratization.
