Robert Turner is currently Group Manager, Controls and Planning at Leighton Contractors.  In this role he has a clear directive from the Executive Management Team to redefine and establish controls and planning as a fundamental project management activity occurring on all projects.  This is seen as a key component in the improvement of profit realisation on projects by improving the fundamental reliability of initial planning and subsequent performance reporting and forecasting.  Robert has worked within the Leighton Group on a wide range of major projects including telecommunications, process, resource, infrastructure and building projects. 

Before joining Leighton Robert worked in defence contracting as Project Planning and Controls Manager for Boeing on the Combat System for the Collins Class Submarines.
