Over 30 years of practical, hands-on international experience as Project Controls Manager for major petrochemical EPC projects, (>$1billion), establishing, developing, and leading multi-national and multi-disciplined project controls teams.

Paul has a proven record of managing and motivating his multi-national teams across multiple projects and locations, providing timely and accurate information to the Project Management Team in the following areas;

• scheduling and planning (P3/6); budget and cost control;
• risk management;
• contract & change management;
• handover control;
• claims and forensic analysis; and
• liaison with third parties.

Paul is responsible for the preparation and effective presentation of status, progress, and budget reports to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team, plus reporting periodically to other stakeholders such as; financial institutions, licensors, lenders’ technical consultants, and government departments.

An empathy with local cultures has built the foundation of Paul’s proven ability to effectively communicate, firmly and sensitivity, with a wide range of diverse multi-national employees, contractors, and sub-contractors.

Paul has expert personal skills in Primavera P6 and P3, (including the creation of large logic-driven schedules), plus development of budgets, WBS, CBS, and PMS procedures.
