Mohamed Gebriel is a Business Entrepreneur and Project Management Expert with a long record of international PM experience. He is the founder and current Managing Director of Progress Group, a coalition of experts providing professional Project, Program, Portfolio and Performance Management Consultancy Services.

As a Planning & Control Engineer, he was the first from Africa to receive the Authorized Trainer/Consultant certification from Primavera in 1998 in London. He is a certified PMP as well as a post graduate degree holder in Construction Engineering & Management. Mohamed is an experienced trainer of Project Management courses and Project Management Applications, conducting training in numerous countries.

in 2001 co-established Promastar as a specialized Project Management Consulting Company and became the Business Director of Promastar. He has developed business and worked in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Sweden, USA, Malta and Oman in Construction, Oil & Gas, Telecom, IT and Government projects with a total project value exceeding $2.25 Billion. He has been a consultant to names as ABB - Susa, Alcatel, Ericsson, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Mobinil, Ocean Energy, Orascom, Saudi Telecom, Siemens and the Qatari Public Works Authority. He’s led consulting teams in several claim cases and participated in arbitration hearings as a Delay Analysis Expert.

Mohamed worked as the Middle East Telecom Program Manager for Getronics, an International ICT firm. He also managed the KSA office of Promastar where he was able to extremely increase Promastar's Project Management Consultancy revenue in the market.

He was responsible for creating and developing the only MBA in Project Management in the Middle East currently offered by the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, which is sponsored by the Arab League.

He was also a content team member responsible for developing PMI’s new Portfolio Management Standard.
