Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Part of the program management team
2. Assigned to the major packages of the airport projects such as but not limited to Passenger Terminal Complex, Airfield Infrastructures and Landside Infrastructures.
3. Leads and manages planners and schedulers to ensure smooth delivery of works at all phases of project lifecycle.
4. Assume overall responsibilities of overall project planning, scheduling development and maintenance.
5. Advise on turn-around planning and scheduling and implementation/monitoring.
6. Establishes and communicates packages schedule baselines and ensure control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
7. Generate high quality project reports and presentations as required by stakeholders.
8. Coordinate schedule risk analysis of internally generated and Contractor generated schedules.
9. Lead and manage an effective planning function supporting projects and operations.
TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
1. Develop procedures, such as but not limited to, programme and reporting requirements, progress measurement using earned value principles
2. Advise on progress measurement system and reporting set-up and implementation.
3. Perform Progress/Performance evaluation and reporting.
4. Ensure EOT analysis are done timely and accurate in coordination with the Project Management team
5. Participate in Tender preparation and/or adjudication.
6. Review baseline resource loading and analysis progress update and cash flow integration based on earned value methods.
7. Establish and define any job-oriented project control procedures and identify the level of resources required to operate them.
8. Develop a Work Breakdown Structure for the program/project.
9. Establish and agree the level and frequency of reporting required by the project.
10. Reviews overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
11. Convert overall project strategy into strategic plan for planning function.
