Planning Engineer (Acting Senior Planning Engineer)
Projects: Main Contractor for the projects - Al Fattan Tower (Value: $ 75 Million) and Tenora Hotel
Apartment (Value: $ 18 Million) respectively.
- Develop tender baseline and assist Planning Manager in making Clause 14.1 for the project including resource allocation/loading based on bill of quantity and productivity rate of the company.
- Develop recovery/ acceleration programs to mitigate incurred delays.
- Develop advance Excel Macro programming report (planned vs actual) prior to progress monitoring and implementation.
- Develop and implement Progress Tracking and Performance Analyses methodologies using Earned Value. Management, Cost Performance Index (CPI) & Schedule Performance Index (SPI) techniques.
- Develop critical indicator sheets/ histograms/ manpower & material requirements to higher management.
- Develop & monitor two-week look-ahead plans, ensuring availability of resources & approved documents.
- Prepare Extension of Time Claims, Reports & Time Impact Analysis.
- Present, converse and explain the site progress and if any cause of delay/ahead activity prior to project’s completion date to the client during the weekly progress meeting using PowerPoint and other materials.
- Produce higher management report (weekly) and monthly progress and management brief reports.
- Participate in contractual correspondences related to time and letters for notice of delays to the concern parties and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with the management and construction team with site visits/inspections to gather/validate information and update work progress/program prior to weekly and monthly reports
- Participate in all necessary meetings for the project internally and externally.
