Snr. Project Control Engineer – Amandelbult

ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM– Johannesburg, RSA, ($715 mill.)

• Validate project scope through FEL 1 to 3 studies and develop cross functional project management plans for execution as owner’s team member (Hatch Goba)
• Develop IMS L3 from contractor schedule information. M&C schedules for early execution works and report to stakeholders.
• Manage project cost and schedule integration through Primavera V6.8.2 aligned with Prism through SQL database (2008) and controls systems.
• Budget preparation and forecasting, cost control, tender evaluation and adjudication, funding analysis and application for funding to board.
• Planning of annual works program and budget preparation, coordinating input on third party and company audits and cost analysis.
• Establishing and maintaining effective liaison with all the relevant corporate functions including; finance, supply chain, social development, legal, techno-economics, safety and sustainability, environmental, HR, IR,  and IT to ensure that both corporate and project objectives are met.
• Detail presentations regarding project performance to senior, executive and board as required.
