Internally
· Helped devised and implemented the group’s European EPM strategy.
· Provide support to the sales teams in toolset demonstrations.
· Provide support for the sales teams in EVM, Project and Programme Management solutions.
· Develop relationships with potential clients and provide them with advice in all Project Controls related issues.
· Provide support to the marketing department via speaking at conferences and workshops about all subject project controls related.
Externally
· Create/organise and run Project Management Offices (PMO) for various clients.
· Define the PMO structure, processes and implement these.
· Administration of Earned Value Management Systems for various clients and identifying key areas needing management attention.
· Create and manage a cross work stream and customer dependency process, and identify any issues week on week.
· Identify, implement and integrate the Risk Management process with the EVMS in order that a full project picture can be produced.
· Implement a system to accurately escalate the issues through the organisation.
· Provide guidance on the standards that can be used (UK APM Guide for EVM, ANSI 748, Aust 4817, PRINCE) and then provide compliance to the nominated process.
· Define tactical and strategic solution for clients with regards to their Project/Programme Management and EVM systems, including toolset, processes and change management requirements.
· Provide training for organisations at all levels from planners to project directors:
o Interpretation of EV data
o Project/Programme management
o Basic EV
o Scheduling
o Toolsets including wInsight suite and COBRA
o Ancillary role based training for functions that need appreciation of EVM (Finance, commercial and contracts dept.)
· Provide technical toolset support both internal to Deltek and to clients.
· Define and develop Project Management Office (PMO) roles, responsibilities and educate and train the team in their new roles.
· Define appropriate end to end Project/Programme Management processes, and then implement the changes via formal change management processes.
· Help the organisation improve the behaviours needed to manage effectively.
· Support the management team at all levels of the organisation in the interpretation of the Project/Programme Management information.
