how not to place your new project under existing sample ones

i just installed my primavera p6 PPM for the first time and there are many sample projects
when i start a project it starts under existing project groups
how can i NOT start it under existing groups?
I want to keep the sample projects groups and project totally separate than the new projects i am going to do now
i just installed them to occasionally look at it if i need
