Crossrail Design SCL Tunnels - Construction Planning Manager
Crossrail is the new high frequency, convenient and accessible railway for London and the South East. Approximately 22km of the route is underground incorporating 5 mined stations. Role required the management of the construction planning for the underground Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) Works for the stations, cross-passages, cross-over caverns and associated ventilation/intervention shafts and tunnels.
· Production and updating of Primavera P6 programmes for all SCL works (5 Stations & 6 Structures).
· Analysis of Value Engineering proposals and assessment of programme viability.
· Production of planning reports and design documents relating to constructability.
· Assessment of site requirements and production of site layout drawings.
· Analysis of construction resources and waste for the production mass-haul and logistics plans.
· Assistance to environmental engineers re. plant requirements and noise/vibration advice.
· Advise design engineers on constructability issues and best practice.
· Production of initial drafts of construction sequence drawings for RIBA F design.
