1. Manages scope, cost, and schedules by participating as an active project team member, developing project schedules, developing project cash flow, reviewing project cost estimates, developing project management plans, entering project budgeting information, and coordinating project funding updates and budget transfers with finance staff
2. Performing administration and construction support duties by assisting in the development of department and division budgets as required, preparing issue papers, attending board meetings, writing proposals and qualifications, evaluating submitted proposals, managing consulting contracts, attending construction meetings, and making field observations as necessary to track progress.
3. Ensuring adherence to recommended best practices such as the critical path method based on PERT and the like.
4. Devising strategies to overcome roadblocks or delays through various methods such as using industry related technical knowledge, innovating short cuts or alternative ways, improvising with available resources, scheduling overtime to meet the deadline.
5. Engaged in construct ability review, baseline planning and updation, client billing, earned value management and risk analysis.
6. Responsible for rolling out monthly project progress reports, preparing and updating construction schedules and cost variance analysis.
