Built and maintained detailed resource loaded CPM schedules using P5/P6 for Suncor and Devon Oil Sands projects. Projects were :
- Voyageur Project – Coker CAD$ 30 Million
- Voyageur Project – Utilities CAD $ 45 Million
- Devon Jackfish 2 – Well Pads E-F CAD $ 60 Millions
- Applied extensive knowledge of Excel and SAP to track, analyze and report projects costs.
- Captured cost trends, forecasted ETC (Estimate to Complete) and validated others’ forecasts
- Extract actual costs and generate planned vs. actual costs reports on monthly basis. Review and verify accruals with procurement lead and compile overall cost reports for further cost analysis
- Compared planned versus incurred and actual costs, detect reasons for variations and recommend corrective actions.
- Participated in recurring review meetings with the clients, namely Suncor and Devon, representing Project Controls and supporting Project Managers
- Maintained a change order log and enforced Change Management processes
- Created periodical internal and external status reports, presentations and other ad-hoc reporting deliverables.
