· Performing inter-disciplinary tasks between the Cost, Trend and Schedule divisions of the Project Controls Department on Hay Point Expansion Phase 3.
· Initially worked on Budget refining process, which involved segregating Direct Costs / Hrs, Indirect Cost / Hrs, Escalation, Growth Allowances and Contingency.
· Mapping of cost accounts from estimate files to control budget items.
· Responsible for producing cash call for advance funding on a monthly and quarterly basis for multiple currencies.
· Leasing with Contracts, Procurement, Planning and Site teams on a regular basis to establish the projected cash flow.
· Generating Commitment and Incurred cost curves.
· Updating / Creating new Cost codes and mapping to package codes in ePCWorks
· Coordinating with procurement, expediting and logistics teams for tracking critical dates for delivery of steel galleries, surge bins and transfer towers. Updating the delivery schedule for pre-fabricated items manufactured overseas.
· Responsible for maintaining and updating the Level 4 schedule in Primavera 6 for the Shiploader.
· Providing input into the Level 1 and Level 3 executive schedule.
· Responsible for raising the trends related to material procurement.
· Rationalising cost accounts with packages in line with awarded contracts.
· Managing a team of 2 Junior Cost Engineers.
