As a planning engineer, my responsibilities are and not limited to the following:

1. Develop Project Plan and Schedule.
2. Maintain and record on a regular basis the site progress and update Contract Master programme accordingly. 
3. Prepare on regular basis the site progress status and control schedules comprising of: 
4. Material Submittal and Approval schedule. 
5. Shop Drawing Submittal and Approval schedule 
6. Subcontractor Appointment schedule 
7. Material Procurement schedule 
8. Resource Histogram 
9. Equipment Histogram 
10. Cash Flow 
11. PrepareTwo Weeks  `look ahead’ program 
12. Maintain records of planned site progress against actual site progress. 
13. Assist in formulation of delays/disruption claims/notifications. 
14. To ensure compliance with agreed program and coordination schedules by all parties. 
15. Review site progress and update programme. 
16. Prepare Progress reports. 
17. Advise Project Manager of progress slippages to activities for corrective action to be taken. 
18. Attend Progress and other relevant Meetings as advised by the Project Manager.
