Supervising a small team of four Logistics Engineers in controlling the umbilical manufacture within the Manufacturing facility.
- Performing the duties of a Logistics Engineer:
- Engineering review and analysis of non-conformance reports, facilitation of technical review meetings and control of project costs including variation orders. Co-ordinating fitting of hardware and final testing inline Duco’s Quality systems, ISO9001 and API requirements. Final packaging of umbilicals and ancillary hardware and loadout to installation vessels.
- Organising / managing sub-contractor work on Duco site ensuring all project specific requirements, as well as Duco’s QHSE systems, are adhered to.
- Control of Subcontractors & Vendors (Tronic / ODI / Silec / Draka / NDT Services).
- Ensuring client packaging requirements are met and co-ordinate the despatch of repair and secondary hardware items and hold project close out meetings. First point of contact for 3rd party inspection authorities and on site client representatives.
