The mission was to run & monitor the projects control system for a program of various sized On/Offshore Oil & Gas Projects respecting the shareholders targets & the company rules & procedures, the job responsibilities were mainly the following:
- Setup the overall annual projects CAPEX budget, baseline schedules, cost phasing, earned value management system (EVMS) & setup the (5 & 10 years) cost estimates.
- Setup & manage projects control system for various types of contracts (EPC, Lump sum, Unit Rate, Reimbursable, BOT…etc), track the activities progress (VOWD), update the projects schedules & control sheets to control the projects services contracts & purchase orders, estimate the (ETC, EAC), analyze projects performance (CV, SV, VAC, SPI, CPI and TCPI) & define probable risks.
- Review & analyze the overall costs & accruals, invoices approval and release SAP service tickets.
- Create & manage an integrated projects control system, train the staff to use it, add the ad-hoc reports and perform periodical maintenance & features upgrading.
