Project Control Site Manager, Kharafi National, 40 Story Office Building, Shopping Mall, VVIP Terminal

Roles:

• Contribute to project feasibility study development of cost estimates for all project based activities. Generate project cash flow profile for economic evaluation process.
• Lead, manage and direct a team of Senior/Junior Planning (Cost) Engineers and QS, to define, co-ordinate and manage project schedule, Budget, and contracts development, maintenance and monitoring progress status.
• Recommend project controls, budget and associated contingency. Participate in commercial evaluations of project proposal during tendering process. Support management to understand/monitor and manage project cost control and reporting.
• Implement total cost/investment controlling and management systems and ensure compliance to standard. Undertake Project Management and investment controlling procedures with respect to cost monitoring, control and reporting.
• Regularly performing variance analyses and distinguishing between scope of work, currency, escalation and timing differences. Reviewing contracts and extracting of relevant cost information for contract analysis.
• Utilize Primavera Project Planner (P3), P6-Rel8.1, Pert Master 8, Expedition (Contract Manager) Ver. 14.0 and (Contract Control & Claims) software to generate project schedules, estimates and controls.
• Conduct routine cost estimating methods such as quantity surveying, MTO summaries, unit costing, factoring, contingency allotment, total cost validation by benchmarking against historical data.
• Performing cost control services in support of Project activities where it includes cost estimating, data base management, progress and schedule evaluation and analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and budgeting.
• Provide support in the verification of costs that are charged to the Project in terms of contractual validity, and conformance with contractual compensation provisions.
• Provide Ensure quality of the Planning and Cost engineering are in accordance to the set standards of the company, monitoring complete aspects of PCSD functions.
• Receive updated construction progress and cost information from the field, perform trend analyses, and revise construction cost projections on a contract by contract basis.
• Review forecasts, variance analyses, and budgets for accuracy and consistency and prepare appropriate trends and revisions after consultation with the project management.
• Coordinate annual Capital Budget and Estimate update preparation with respect to assigned Project activities. Monitor project procurement activities and makes adjustments for timing and procurement cost deviations.
• Liaison with the team individuals to assure their competency to their tasks and provide guidance and help when needed to deliver the proper reports and ensure consistency with client and company requirements.
