April, 2008 Based at Sizewell ’B’ nuclear power station working as part of the station refuelling outage management group, this role involved developing resource plans for the FMA contract refuelling outage work scope, allocating resources and disciplines, specifying quantities, developing histograms, reviewing plan logic and resolving issues arising from work scope reviews. These areas were all developed using the Artemis 9000 planning software. The role involved liaising with task leads, fellow members of the planning team and with the customer (British Energy), with the primary aim of agreeing manning levels, durations and budget. I was also been heavily involved with the project planning of the mobilisation and demobilisation of the containment building, both of which feature periods of activity that were on the master outage plan critical path.
